Vacancy – Finance Manager (part-time)

Inspire! is a charity based in the heart of Dalston, with a vision of all local young people having a fair chance to succeed. We deliver an impressive range of employability programmes in schools for young people between the ages of 3 and 24, and we run our own alternative provision school for 20 learners who have been excluded from mainstream education. Working with a range of groups including some of the hardest to reach in Hackney, we create opportunities for young people to find their talents and thrive.

Since its establishment, Inspire! has grown rapidly and now employs 30 staff, with a turnover of £1.2m per annum. Currently working with 42 schools, more than 12,000 young people take part in our programmes every academic year, involving over 750 volunteers from our network of employers. In 2014 we established our independent school, The Inspired Directions School, offering alternative provision for 15 learners whose needs cannot be met within mainstream education.

Our new three-year strategy will see us expand the reach of our work and raise our profile as experts in employability. One of our first priorities is to improve our systems and processes to help with efficiency, and we are looking for a talented finance professional with a strong interest in our work.
