Inspire is a Hackney-based charity supporting young people to create a positive future for themselves. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support our business development activities to help ensure the growth of our work.
We connect young people with the world of work, challenging stereotypes and celebrating local talent. We also run our own onsite alternative provision school, Inspired Directions, educating 15 local young people aged 14-16 who have been excluded from mainstream education.
This role is an opportunity to learn the ropes – we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic to develop their career towards charity income generation. You will be supported to develop relationships with a range of stakeholders including businesses, schools and trusts and foundations.
Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will also be responsible for compiling data for reporting and will be involved in target-setting and reporting on progress against those targets.
Inspire’s team is talented and diverse, and you will have the opportunity to work with a range of colleagues across the organisation. Someone who thrives in a busy environment, you will be a strong communicator with a talent for spotting opportunities.
Please note our team is currently working from home due to COVID-19, but this will ordinarily be an office-based role.
