Since merging, Inspire and 15billionebp have been through a long and detailed process of updating our programmes, merging our networks, consolidating and expanding our team and launching a new brand identity as Inspire with the help of William Murray Hamm & Identica.

We are currently developing a new website to feature all our up-to-date news and programme information. A platform to properly represent our new brand identity and expanded mission of opening doors to opportunity for young people across several London Boroughs.

Things have become increasingly tough for many in our society, we want to make sure that we have done all we can to help the young people we work with prosper in careers that match their skills and interests.

In order to do this we are looking to expand our network and resources so that we can offer more support to schools and their students. We also want to have good access to even more companies and industries so that young people have the opportunity to investigate and explore even more job roles and professions.

You can’t be what you can’t see, so why not step up as role models for the next generation, be seen, tell your story and share your various career paths? There is rarely one linear route to where you ended up, we hope to build a body of case studies demonstrating this. Exploring how transferrable skills, the right attitude, being open-minded and working hard towards particular goals or objectives can help to create opportunities, however, we don’t live in a meritocracy, so we crucially need you to provide support and access to yourselves and your industries.

We are also running a creative competition for young people who want to contribute to our new brand identity permanently and gain some professional experience in the creative industry.

Competition entrants will get feedback from our judges, and creative professionals from William Murray Hamm & Identica and the winners will have the opportunity to do work placements at their offices, learning from the best. Entrants must be aged 16+ to be able to take advantage of this prize and will be competing with students of creative departments at various schools and colleges in London. You can find and download the brief here.

Submissions should be in a pdf format initially, but also with JPG and PNG files attached too for good measure, in landscape with the file as high quality as possible. Please send submissions to: cbarbe-brown@inspire-ebp.org.uk

Watch this space, we will have all the details on how to support our mission going forward, in more schools across even more London boroughs.
